The Technicals clothing range was designed to utilise existing fleece materials, which are found in their jackets and combine it with state of the art fabric technologies in order to provide a better outdoor experience.
Technicals offer a wide selection of hardy jackets and sweatshirts that are all made from synthetic materials which means that they can withstand very harsh weather conditions. This means that the Technicals clothing range is ideal for hiking, mountain climbing and camping.
Where to purchase
The Technicals clothing range was launched in 2007 exclusively to one main
outdoor retailer in the UK, although all products can now be purchased
online.
Jackets
The Technicals jackets are made from fleece material which makes them ideal
for many outdoor pursuits. Technicals have also released a range
of jackets that are not just made from synthetic materials; they are also
layered to provide protection from wind and rain. This new jacket is called
the Lethbridge and uses eVent fabric. The eVent fabric is a waterproof
plastic membrane which is attached to the jacket as a layer to let all
body perspiration to escape easily and quickly.
Technicals jackets are made for men and women as well as children. They are supplied in variety of colours and styles. Many of the jackets that can be purchased are able to be folded up so that they fit into a pocket, which makes them fantastic for climbing, cycling, hiking and other outdoor events.
Sweatshirts
Technicals sweatshirts are also made with fleece material, although without
the eVent fabric. These sweatshirts can absorb perspiration and expel
it from the body without causing you to feel cold. The sweatshirts
are designed to fit snugly against the skin, which prevents too much cool
air being able to circulate.
Technicals sweatshirts are made for men, women and children are either supplied in earthy colours or bright colours for easy visibility. Most of the sweatshirts have a hood attached to them for extra warmth in the outdoors.
Vests
Technicals vests for men and women offer an alternative to the full fleece
jacket. The vests are made from 100% polyester which will provide
you with warmth whilst still being lightweight. Vests can be worn
as the sole outer layer of mountaineering clothing or as part of a compact
layering system.
