Berghaus is a long established company who have been providing clothing and equipment for outdoor ventures for about 40 years. The Berghaus brand was awarded the Queens Award in 2006 for innovative and technological developments in outdoor products.
Berghaus provide a massive selection of clothing that is made from synthetic materials which are lightweight and breathable. Berghaus have an excellent reputation for being able to produce ideal clothing for hiking, mountaineering and other outdoor pursuits.
Where to purchase
Berghaus fleece jackets and other clothing items can be purchased from many
street retailers and online sites or directly from the Berghaus group website.
Jackets
Berghaus produce an extensive range of outdoor jackets which combine lightweight
fleece jacket materials with their innovative Gore-Tex technology. Gore-tex
fabric is designed to be breathable and waterproof. Berghaus fleece jackets
can be lightweight, windproof, waterproof, quick drying as well as being
made from recycled fleece materials.
The Berghaus fleece jackets are made for men, women and children. They are available to purchase in a variety of styles and colours depending on their intended use and have received many positive customer reviews because they are very lightweight which means that they are easy to move around in.
Sweatshirts
Berghaus also produce sweatshirts with a fleece layer inside them which can
be worn for walking in warmer climates or as fashion item. The sweatshirts
all have hoods for an extra layer of warmth and a front pocket. Berghaus
sweatshirts are designed to be worn as an extra layer to clothing and although
they will provide some protection from the wind they are not designed to
be waterproof.
The Berghaus fleece sweatshirts are available from men and women and are available in earthy colours such as black and light brown.
Vests
Berghaus like many producers of fleece garments also have a wide selection
of vests for men and women. The vests are made from 100% polar fleece
or polyester, which means that they can still provide optimum warmth whilst
still being incredibly lightweight. The vest can be worn as the sole
outer layer for outdoor venture clothing or for layering.
Other products
Berghaus also produce trousers, hats, neck gaiters, sleeping bags and gloves
which can be purchased with a fleece material layer.
